Suzuki’s new compact crossover, the Ignis, is due to make its European debut at next month’s 2016 Paris Mondial de l’Automobile.
Offering stylishness and utility, the Ignis offers minimal exterior design that looks fresh but undoubtedly Suzuki thanks to hints of Suzuki styling that have been passed down and brought to life in the model.
The new Ignis will go on sale in the UK and Europe in January 2017.
Latest environmental technology from Suzuki includes a firm, lightweight new-generation platform as well as the option of a compact and lightweight SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) which offers extra assistance through the electric motor and provides efficient battery recharge. As a result, the engine achieves good fuel efficiency without sacrificing on good performance.
Also on display will be the SX4 S-Cross face-lift, with updated front exterior design and further refined interior quality for a stronger yet more elegant character of an SUV. The facelifted model now offers the choice of a 1.0-litre and 1.4-litre Boosterjet direct-injection turbo engine which replace the existing 1.6 petrol unit. The 1.6 DDis engine continues to be available. The new S-Cross model range will be launched in the UK in mid-October.
More details are due to be released at the Suzuki press conference starting from 9am on the 29 th September 2016.
