Fiat produces its 1.5 millionth Fiat 500

In little more than eight years the Fiat 500 has reached a historic production milestone, with its 1.5 millionth 500 model rolling off the production line in Tychy, Poland. The landmark car was a 1.2-litre Pop, which is destined for its new owner in France.

On sale in more than 100 countries around the world, the Fiat 500 has been a popular choice globally - especially in the UK, which accounts for more than 240,000 units sold! With these impressive figures it’s no wonder the retro favourite has collected more than 40 international awards, including the prestigious European Car of the Year accolade in 2008.
